Privacy Policy

CutView by OpsBuoy LLC  ·  Last updated: September 3, 2026

CutView is a fully local application. It runs entirely in your browser. This policy describes what that means for your privacy.

1. What We Collect

Nothing. CutView does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not use analytics or behavioral tracking.

2. Your Files

Cut files (G-code, ShopBot, and similar) that you open in CutView are read and rendered entirely in your browser using the File API. Your files never leave your device. They are not uploaded to our servers because there are no servers to upload them to.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

CutView uses your browser's localStorage to remember settings and recent activity between sessions. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for cutview.opsbuoy.com.

4. Third-Party Services

CutView does not send your data to any third-party services. Rendering (Three.js) and file parsing run entirely in your browser using bundled local libraries.

5. Pro License Keys

CutView Pro license keys are validated on your device using a client-side checksum. No key data is transmitted to us during validation.

6. Cookies and Analytics

CutView does not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service.

7. Children's Privacy

CutView is a professional tool for machinists, fabricators, and shop operators. It is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect it from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version at this URL with a new effective date.
